There are a number of foods that contain the b17 in them and a great book to get if you can is called the little cyanide cookbook..... Delicious recipes with b17. Flax seeds, barley , millet, buckwheat, all of the non citrus fruit seeds such as peach, peach, pear, plum, nectarine, apple, Sorghum molassis, lima beans, garbanzo beans, etc etc. Lots of foods you can add to your diet that are rich in the b17. Over 1200 in all! |

Hello all,
Roughly two years ago I was diagnosed with diffuse large b-cell lymphoma. It presented itself only externally, on my skin, as (eventually) 9 easily visible protruding lesions. Upon hearing of my diagnosis, a close friend suggested reading World Without Cancer (Griffin). This led to reading the books by Moss, Binzel, and Richardson. I immediately began the protocol described in Binzel's book, starting at 3g of Laetrile capsules a day, increasing to 6g, and finally during the past 6 months to 9g. I have been extremely fortunate that my lesions are visible, and so I can easily guage my progress. Of the 9 lesions, 7 have disappered completely and the remaining two are steadily receding. Although this progress was steady, it was extremely s l o w. Which is one reason I bumped my dosage up to 9g.
Until about a month ago, I had NEVER experienced any adverse side-effects from this high dosage. (My rationale was, when reading about terminal cases being given 11g IV, then 9g orally should be OK.) And I had always dismissed the claims of cyanide toxicity as another bogus attempt at discrediting Laetrile. However, events of the past month have forced me to admit that, at least via oral ingestion, there is a risk of toxicity at high dosages. I began to experience a number of the symptoms of cyanide poisoning, the worst of which was bouts of incredible weakness and mental confusion, almost semi-conscious at times. Strangely, many of these bouts seemed to be triggered by eating certain foods. My girlfriend finally persuaded me to see my doctor, and he immediately (as in, within 20 minutes) had me admitted to the hospital. However, before he would agree to help me, he insisted that I stop taking Laetrile. I conceded to do this (temporarily) if for no other reason than it would probably be better to get a good baseline in the tests he would be ordering. One day after stopping my Laetrile intake, I felt 200% better. All normal blood work, CT scan, and MRI were all clean. However, the cyanide/blood level test showed 77 mcg/dcl, which I was told by the doctors nurse, is close to fatal levels.
My working theory is that taking 9g a day caused a very gradual buildup of cyanide in my system which finally reached some threshold (again, triggered by certain food intake, which I still don't understand). Having left the hospital, I have reduced my dosage to 3g/day with the intention of eventually taking 6g/day, but no more than that. Once all my lesions have disappeared, I will revert to 3g/day.
I do have a couple of other interesting side-affects from Laetrile. A few years ago, out of the blue, I acquired an allergy to dust, which was very annoying. Since taking Laetrile that allergy has disappeared. Cool! Also, the hair-growth patterns on my body have changed. Body hair is more sparse and grows in patterns more like it did when I was a teenager. And my head hair is much "wavier", as it was when I was younger. Strange, but interesting.
In addition to wanting to share my experience with Laetrile, I have a question for the forum. Obviously, self-treatment and self-dosing did not work out optimally for me. Can anyone point me to a site or source where I could find doctors in my area who have experience with prescribing Laetrile protocols? I would much rather do this under a physicians supervision. i live in the Tampa Bay Area, in Florida. Any help appreciated.

Thank you for sharing your story with us all! Real life experience is the best information in my opinion.
As far as finding a physician goes, if you look under the heading "Resources" at the top of the web page, you will see clinic search as a drop down, you can click on that and find physicians in your state.
In the next few weeks we will be launching the "Cancer Wizard" which will be on the main home page and will allow members to type in their location among other things to find physicians, clinics, health food stores, recovered patients, local IACVF chapters, supplement companies and much more in their area!
But for now you have to do it the old fachioned way ...under resources :-)
I hope this information helps!
Congratulations on your success!
Kristi

Hi Charley I am new here & have some questions on using the seeds as a preventitive. Hopefully they are not too repetitive...
- Is there any benefit to using the seeds vs capsules? Is it better or more efficient to do both? - Should we be pairing either the seed or the capsule with an enzyme and/or zinc (or anything else for that matter)?
Thanks very much for taking the time to answer everyone's questions. I have several relatives and a friend who are battling cancer right now - the conventional way (family) and holistic (the friend). I'm about to turn 40 and have 2 young children. I recently learned of the benefits of B17 from my friend and am very interested in the benefits. Shelly |

I have prostate cancer that has gone to the bones. I've been on B17 for over 2months now but the lesions or tumors are noticeable most of the time. Some one else here had the same thing and mentioned some kind of shots for the bone. Will just any kind of calcium help? I've lost a great deal of muscle and kept the fat and am very weak with no appetite. DBee |

For those people who would say that laetrile is a bunch of crock, what do you tell them?
Where their real studies done?
I've had several people tell me that "everyone I know who tried to fight cancer naturally, died"
What's your answer for this?

You would have to study each case specifically ...did the person already beat down their immune system with chemo and radiation before they looked into natural remedies? Many who die, die of pnemonia or a common cold or something else that us, the healthy person never having recieved chemo or radiation would have been able to fight off and live. So the "Experts" say "We got the cancer" but then the death cert says "cause of death, "Pnemonia" or some sort of organ failure that hey would not have had if they weren't microwaved to death. (literally) .
Who are these people that say it is a crock? Have they spoken with physicians who have a history of success stories like Dr. John Richardson who treated over 6000 patients? Dr. Alvaraz, Stella Maris Clinic? Dr. Contrearas, Oasis of Hope Hospital? Dr. Brody, Reno?
Have they interviewed survivors, like Jason Vale, brain cancer survivor, Rod Czlonka, brain cancer survicor, Evelyn Stacer survivor of cancer over 40 years through natural methods only and STILL FIESTY as ever in her 80's now?
I speak to soooooo many cancer survivors at trade shows and through our 1 800 number and the ones that have decided to go "alternative" prior to having chemo or radiation, or having undergone very little treatments conventionally are not only surviving but happy, healthy and have their hair. Besides the actual people telling their stories, there are many GREAT research books out there: Dr. John Richardson's book "Laetrile Case Histories" , "Cancer Why We Are Dying To Know The Truth by researcher Philip Day is a GREAT book. There are so many more, many survivors have written books on their journey through surviving cancer.....
I'd ask the skeptics, how much research have they actually done and first make sure before they answer that they are not partners in a pharmacuetical or oil company.
Knowledge = power, unfortunately money = more power...... its sad really.
Hope that helps, Kristi Johnson

Hello: This question is for Matt who worked for Dr Richardson in Albany CA...Matt, I have a bottle of Laetrile, 100 mg per cap...I have never taken it before. I want to begin it because I have what they are calling a cyst in my pancreas. I have been to Mexico to look into some clinics and am familiar with Gerson and have some Hoxsey remedy. Because I have never used Laetrile, i do not know where to start or how much to start with. I am unsure of my weight, yet I am running around 139-140lbs. Hoping you can help, April Canada

Seems to have been not alot of activity in this particular topic only One for 2009 !? lets see if I can restimulate :)
I'd like ot hear facts... Apricot Kernels.. amygdalin, who's using.. and results from PSA level tests.... IS it reducing your count downward? I'v been taking th eKernels for a short whil enow, and I will be due for a blood test - prior to agreeing to go the traditional way - surgery.... I'm also looking at getting the capsules of AMYGDALIN from http://www.iherb.co.nz/getProduct.c...uctGroupId=2 and would be very interestd to hear from anyone who has taken these, or similar product. But I think we really need to hear facts from anyone wherever who have used this and HAVE or have NOT had their PSA levels head the downward direction. There is so much info' on the web, who to believe, who to ignore, what's the Truth!? Are you taking these products.. for how long, and what Are the results? what dosage are you taking? how long have you been living with whichever cancer you have? mine is Prostate, psa 7.8 as at early March - I want to lock onto a positive product , but I want to have confidence that it will and is showing positive results in you. whatever I take - I'l rteport back in a month or two when my own PSA 's are re checked.

My company, www.apricotpower.com, sells both the tablets and capsules and will match any price you find but you can google search on the internet to find other options as well. Hope that helps.

I thought it is illegal to sell Laetrile in the U S?

Oh, okay, I see now.
I have read that laetrile/apricot kernals can lessen the pain of cancer. Well, my husband doesn't have cancer, but he does have severly painful arthritis in his legs. Due to the pain, he must use a walker and have my assistance when he walks, and can't be left alone(I've become as homenound as he is due to that). Have you ever heard of Laetrile or apricot kernals relieving pain other than that caused by cancer?
Currently my husband is taking vicodin and another prescription pain pill with it to relieve the pain. They don't help much and I'm afraid he will become aaddicted. He's 78 years old(29 years older then me.)

Hi, I am new to this site, I feel great when I see so many people here to discuss about Cancer. It is also encouraging to know about the wonder natural fruit seed called Apricot Kernel, I have been browsing information regarding this kernel, found many people are supporting this with the testimonials, It is very sad to know that it is not getting any approval from FDA due to whatever reason it may be( people are earning out of cancer which they may not get from natural healing as nobody can take patent of that), They will wake up only when they DIE out of cancer. As my wife has just undergone mastectomy of breast, and she is advised to have 6 cycles of Chemo followed by Herceptin as she is ER/PR+ and HER2+, But she is just reluctant to undergo chemo. As suggested by one of my friends now she is undergoing the naturopathy. meanwhile I am trying to access the Vitamin B17 in India its a rare medicine, I seek advise how to get it here, in case if it is to be bought from the net , is there any authentic source where i can get it.& also the legality of the import. please advise. Although apricot fruits and seeds are available here, is it just enough to have Apricot seeds or Vitamin B17 is also a must? I am very much in anxiety as we have dared to reject chemo. Please advise. Dinesh

I understand that 10 apricot kernels that have been groundup equal 1 tablespoon. Does anyone know how many "0" capsules that will fill? Or what measurment(ex: 1/8 teaspoon) is equivalent to 1 kernel?

Hi, I m new here. I am a self taught alternative cancer treatment therapist and is currently learning chinese herb medicine from a master. I m a big fan of Mr G. Edward Griffin's books and have read all of them. I got into cancer after reading World Without Cancer about a year ago. I have successfully treated several relatives and family friends in China that had cancer by combining chinese herbal medicines and Dr Binzel's vitamin, enzymes, b17, & diet program (Cancer is exploding in China over the last decade). Apricot Kernels has been used as medicine in traditional chinese herbal medicine for thousands of years. Production and sale of Laetrile/Amygdalin in China is also legal because of our long tradition of herbal medicine. I buy it directly from the factory for my patients at around $400 USD per kilo of laetrile powder. The powder is soluble in warm water (preferably distilled water) for intravenous injection or can be capsuled for oral use. I am currently working on more patients that my relatives have referred to me. I am considering changing profession to cancer treatment and move to China where i wont run into trouble promoting alternative treatment. Lastly I want to thank everybody in this forum and website for sharing their own experience. I have gathered a lot of important information regarding alternative therapy from all of you so that i can further assists several cancer patients in my hometown of wenzhou, china.
If anyone wants to obtain a large quantity of laetrile at great prices, just go directly on www.alibaba.com and search for "amygdalin" for the best results. I got my supply of amygdalin from the factories listed on alibaba also. Most of these factories specialize in manufacturing of chinese herbal remedies, therefore, quality is not a problem. Make sure contact gold members on alibaba only as they are more reputable. Production time is about a week and they will ship to any country. If you live in a country where importing laetrile is illegal they will still ship and go as far as fudging the custom declaration forms. But buy at your own risk because customs do random package inspections and might confiscate.
